We bought this microwave in March 2018. It was the only microwave on the market we could find that fit within the bezel, on the mount brackets, and with a finish that matched of our failed Bosch microwave above the built-in oven combo.Out of the box the sound level of the beeps and reminders was too loud. We had to silence all sounds. It's worked great otherwise so we'd give it a 4 star rating. But... recently it started to run uncommanded for 2-3 seconds after removing our food and closing the door. So it appears to be failing. Any ideas how to repair this? For this reason we give 2 stars because now we have to find another microwave to fit above our Bosch combo oven or replace everything ($$$$).

I bought this in Q2 2018 and builtin microwave died (wouldn't heat) early 2020. I am told its because of magnetron in Jan-Feb 2020. Cost me over 500$ with trim for new home. Didn't expect to go bad this soon. Now magnetron part itself costs over 100$, leave alone the labor costs. Very disappointing. Thought built in microwaves that cost 3 times countertop ones are supposed to be of higher quality or is this frigidaire's issue ?. Lesson learnt

As this is a built-in unit it is more expensive and way more difficult to install than a regular microwave. I am super disappointed that I am going to have to go through that process all over again ! Surely a 500$ microwave oven is supposed to last more than a couple years!

I got this unit as part of the builders installation for my new home in 2017. I had door issues and also now the light is fused out. Based on the information to change the light it seems to be a horrendous task. Why did I ever get this as part of the package. Save money buy something different

I have had this microwave for about 4 years and have had to replace the fuse about every 4 months or so - until recently. I have to now replace every third day or so. Shoddy product. Will go with another brand soon.

We had this in our house as a set with other appliances. It has been nothing but problems. Now, when you shut the door it continues to run nonstop with cold air. I had to throw the breaker and unplug it to get it to shut off.

This is the worst appliance we have ever had. It came with our new home appliance package. The door has been fixed twice and now the bulb has burnt out. You have to completely take this microwave apart to get to the bulb which is now incredibly expensive $36. The model itself has been discontinued, go figure. Great job Frigidaire or Electrolux. You suckered us right in on this one. Oh, by the way, you need a security screw bit to get the frame off!

We purchased a house that already had this microwave installed. The microwave died on us after only a year in the house and it couldn't have been older than 5 years because the house was about that age. We purchased another one so that our set would stay complete and it is having issues with the door latch. This is our 2nd one and it is very disheartening knowing it is already having issues and we have only had this one for a little over a year. After this one goes out, we will be buying a different brand.

I bought this to replace my old frigidaire. This one is much noisier and smells like burnt wires. It works well and fits exactly like my old one. I miss some of my old buttons but this one should be easy to get used to and has more features.

I bought the oven a month ago. We had to do a little woodwork to install this built in mirowave. It replaces a 13 year old GE. The new products are built a lot shorter than the old ones. It works and we are pleased.

I purchased FGMO205KF Gallery 2-cu ft built-in microwave. The first one lasted only a few weeks and the interior light shorted out. Lowes ordered a replacement and this microwave worked fine for less than 1 1/2 years. Now I know why Frigidaire kept mailing me extended warranty plans in the mail every few months. The magnetron that heats up food has gone out. The cost of the part and install is as much as a buying a new one. Terrible product, I'd give it zero stars if that was a choice.

Our old "built in" microwave stopped working and I wanted to be able to use the existing trip kit so it matched the other appliances. This model was a perfect and has all the features I wanted - auto start, defrost, cooking modes.

Replaced an old Sharp model and it is a perfect fit in our existing fit kit. So far the microwave works well, is very powerful, plenty of room, looks nice and as met our expectations. No convection heating or 'oven' type features but we knew that before purchase.

Microwave works perfectly and seems to heat things quickly. Still learning how to use it but the only thing that I think could be improved is if the keypad would light up. We had ours installed below the counter top and it is hard to see the buttons sometimes.

I wanted to buy a microwave that matched our other gallery edition appliances. Love their look and performance. Microwave works very well and is ample sized. Seems well built. If it holds up (which it seems like it will) hope to upgrade my stove to the newer gallery edition too.

We bought this about a month ago to replace a 2012 model that was installed in our new house. The replacement made more economic sense than repairing the old microwave as all appliances are matching frigidaire gallery or professional appliances. We saved money by reusing the old mounting plate and faceplate and installing ourselves. We are pleased with all of our frigidaire apppliances.

I am extremely frustrated with Frigidaire products. We got Frigidaire Stove, Dishwasher, Microwave and Oven installed by our home builder in our newly constructed home. We got rid off our old bosch microwave as we thought our new one should work fine. Our warranty just expired few months back and now both our Frigidaire Gallery Microwave and the Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher stopped working in the same month. When we called Customer Service they were not helpful and were being sarcastic that we should have opted for the extended warranty. Well if your products can't last for more than 18 months then shame on your product teams for delivering below standard products!!!! Extremely frustrated and don't want to spend another $1000 on my microwave and dishwasher now. Please help and be nice to your customers if you want to continue your business.....Next review will be posted on facebook and twitter.

Microwave works good looks even better. I added a trim kit to mine in a microwave cabinet. Trim kits are greatly overpriced. I think it's a tad bit on the loud side but nothing horrendous. The built in look is going to be a selling point of the kitchen.

Ever since day 1, the microwave door would not open with the button. Frigidaire sent out a service technician 3 different times. Each time, they said they "fixed it" but only to have the problem return after about 2 weeks. Now, they are saying it is out of warranty and there is nothing they can do about it. I will never own another Frigidaire product again!

This microwave is the perfect height and looks great over the built in oven! It has all the great functions you'd expect and does a wonderful job! The only thing I miss from my previous microwave is to be able to use the timer for something I'm cooking on the stove at the same time I'm microwaving something else. If you push start to microwave something, it will cancel the timer if you're using it for something else. Not a big deal at all, I love the microwave and use it all the time!

This microwave came with our new home in October 2017. While it "visually" looked nice, we've had constant problems with the door sticking. The home warranty folks came out on 3 different occasions and that still didn't help, and they refused to replace it, claiming nothing was wrong with it. Save yourself time, money, and warranty money and do NOT purchase this microwave. Trust me - you'll be happy you didn't buy it!! I'm praying I can find a replacement of the same measurements.

This came with a new home I purchased just over 3 years ago. From day one the door has trouble opening. I often have to push the door up before pushing the button to open the door. It's been 3 years of this microwave and it just started SPARKING. all I had in it was a small glass dish with some butter... not metal or anything. I even purchased an extended warranty which conveniently expired a couple months before the sparking.I Would not recommend this product

This is the same second microwave, same make and model, and the door latch release doesn't work! The first one stopped working twice. They finally replaced it after the second time, however, this is the replacement and I'm having the same issue!! And no, I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary and it's just normal use on a daily basis. I'm still waiting to be contacted by a representative to have the issue resolved! The Microwave itself works fine, but to have to play with the door is extremely inconvenient!!
