I™€™ll purchase this AC unit to replace one that I had in my workshop. It uses 3/4 of the amount of power that my old unit used and this one actually will cool an 1800 square-foot basement workshop. There™€™s very little insulation but half of the building is underground. I can™€™t say much about installation, as I have a wall framed up to put it in so I didn™€™t install it in the window like most people would. The remote works well I™€™m very pleased with the unit.

No parts available. No repair manual available. Customer service was horrible. My 25000 btuFHWW253WC2} a/c quit working after 23 months. Will not power up. Replaced capacitor and worked for 2 days. Now it does not even fire up like it is unplugged. The reviews are amazing on the Frigidaire web site. I have my Home Depot receipt and will be checking to verify my review is posted.

WIFI module makes filter not seat well

The WIFI module is causing the filter to not seat very well at all. It makes the filter stick out of its proper seated position. This seems likely to cause dust and particulates to get around the filter and build up on the evaporator coils.

I recently replaced a much older unit with this and I'm very happy with it. It's cooled my space beyond my expectations, but that's also why I wanted the 25k BTU version. The Frigidaire app is simple and works well, which is all I'm interested in. I also appreciate that the product came with a remote for any guests who want an easy way to operate the AC unit. My only complaint is the instructions could be better, but there are some fantastic videos on YouTube that will make installation easy.

One of the reasons I purchased this model is that It has a 8 pint per hour rating for dehumidification. This unit is not dehumidifying. The dehumidifier that I need to use now is in the same room as the A/C unit. I need to empty the dehumidifier twice a day while not 1 drop of water is draining from the A/C unit. A technician will be here July 29th from Abt to see what the problem is.

The unit works as advertised. One word of caution, do not precut the location before you actually have the unit in front of you. Especially if it's a wall mount. I found the instructions to be adequate, but disjointed. Overall operation of the unit is outstanding.

We bought this unit to replace a Frigidaire AC we installed when we first put on a new 35' X 17' "Great Room" addition 35 years ago. We were thrilled at the time to find that the unit cooled the entire first floor of our split level house. When the old unit finally gave up the ghost, we knew we had to get another Frigidaire. The new unit cools the first floor beautifully and more efficiently, so we could not be happier.
