Bought the whole suite of professional appliances they all have broke in 3 years. $300 just to replace the handle on this microwave. You would think spending $12 grand on appliances they would last more then a few years.

In less than 2 years of use I literally just opened the door and I was left with the handle in my hands. We also have the refrigerator from them that also started to break parts after one year ( we have it for less than 2 years as well )

??I am writing this review in the hope that you can provide some guidance on an issue we are having with our Frigidaire Professional OTC Microwave/Convection Oven.The model number is FPBM3077RFC and the serial number is KG12705342. It was purchased on March 3, 2022.The Microwave cooking feature is working up to our expectations so the comments below will apply to the Convection features.These issues are: 1. When the convection bake feature is selected and the preheat temperature is imputed the oven starts to heat.The time display signals ™Oven Ready™ well before the oven actually approaches the desired temperature.2. The convection bake feature takes an excessively long time to reach a temperature close to that which was inputed. To test this feature we placed a new Thermoworks DOT instant read oven air probe temperature gauge on the wire tray and set the preheat temperature to 300 degrees . The display indicated that the oven had reached that temperature (OVEN READY) after 6 minutes while the DOT gauge reached 284 degrees at 30 minutes after starting the preheat process after which we terminated the test. We have experienced that food items cooked with the convection bake mode are undercooked when the set timer expires and additional bake time must be added.In September we requested that a service appointment be set up and on Oct 18 a Frigidaire approved technician observed the operation of the convection bake feature but was not able to check the temperature because he did not have a gauge with him.He inquired via phone to his service center about our issues and he was told ™that™™s just the way those ovens operate™. I can™™t believe that Frigidaire would agree with this resolution. I felt that we deserved a more in depth investigation into these issues so I requested that a different service provider come to check the convection operation.On December 1 the second service provider spent more time testing and observing the operation of the Microwave and especially the Convection Bake feature. He agreed that there were operating issues and ordered the following four parts which arrived in late December.Microwave Convection Element ThermisorMicrowave Electronic Control BoardMicrowave Convection Element High Limit Thermostat Heating ElementOn January 5 the technician returned to install the above parts. He was not able to remove the original Heating Element but ™tested™ it and deemed it to be working properly. After the other parts were installed he assured me that the problem was solved and that the operation of the convection bake feature would be normal. I had doubts because in his final tests the set temperature was never met according to his meter.After his repair I used the DOT instant read oven temperature air probe gauge to test it's accuracy . I tested it with our Frigidaire Professional Gas Oven (purchased on the same date as the microwave) and it registered temperatures equivalent to the oven LED panel.Next I baked two loaves of bread made from the same dough. Both the gas oven and the microwave were set to convection bake at 400F. The gas oven reached the set temperature after about 20 minutes. The microwave pre heat temperature never reached 400F even though the LED panel indicated that the oven was ready at about 20 minutes. The bread was placed in the microwave oven when the instant read gauge showed 380F. During the rest of the baking process the DOT temperature gauge showed readings of between 340 and 350. After 45 minutes I removed the loaf which was slightly moist from being under cooked. The gas oven baked loaf was finished in 25 minutes and met my expectations.In our ongoing attempt to resolve the issues described above I called Frigidaire customer service and the only advice I was given was to schedule another appointment with the same provider who serviced the Microwave on January 5. Before doing that I would prefer to hear comments from someone from Frigidaire who is familiar with this product.Thank you I will await your reply.MRB44Sent from my iPad

Refreshed our kitchen appliances from another brand to Frigidaire Professional and we are loving it! The microwave gives the best of both worlds with the ability to use the convection feature. The only issue we have is that the buzzer sound isn™™t as loud as we™™d like, and you really need to pay attention for when the timer goes off (especially if you have something of the stove). Overall we are extremely satisfied!

This microwave has some great features but I would definitely purchase the extended warranty. My last one (same model) only lasted 4 years! The control panel went out, which is a very expensive repair! Typical these days!

I recently replaced all of my Viking appliances with the Frigidaire Professional series and I have not yet been disappointed. This microwave™™s door is much lighter and has more options. It™™s also quieter which is really nice. I™™m very happy with my purchase.

We installed this microwave 2 years ago and now the controls have failed and this very expensive microwave is not functional. Started just showing the time but not responding to button presses. Then would display an ™unplug™ message. We tried to unplug it and reset the breaker several times, but still nothing only the message showing unplug. What is going on with this microwave????

The door handle is loose and I can™™t get to the screws to tighten it. I have taken the plastic snap in cover off and still can™™t get to them. I believe the heat from the stove below is making them loose. Would never buy another Frigidaire product.

Digital display on timer function not working.

The numbers on the timer display do not fully display. Can't tell what the numbers are. Example the number 8 looks like a 6 as well as other numbers not displaying properely.Also the exhaust fan does not seem powerfull enough to remove moisture causing cabinet doors to become wet from steam. I have cleaned the fan and filters but the problem still occurs. I have put tissues up to the fan only to have them fall.

I really like this microwave so far. The design is very clean. My only comment is it isn™™t as user friendly as microwaves I™™ve had in the past. There™™s more of a learning curve that I™™m sure I™™ll master. I haven™™t used the convection features yet. (I™™m a little intimidated, but I™™ll get over it.)

I like this the microwave and it works well. All the functions work well, and I have no issues with them. I would say the only downside is this is my second microwave in 4 years. The others have quite working. I bought this one again because all my appliances match. if it goes out again, I will switch brands.

Only 2 years old microwave harness to door has severed wires due to poor engineering design. Numerous complaints for same issue. Customer service not helpful only needed a new door send to me which they want to change almost same price as a new microwave.DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

In case anyone is having the same issue as in the video, I was able to fix mine. The wires in that come from the door and go into the main unit are broken. The hinge design with these wires is crappy and it looks like it wears away on the wires. I took my door off and checked those wires and they are indeed broken. You can solder new wires to replace the broken ones and wrap them up with electrical tape.

Bought entire ™professional series™ appliances for new home. The poor quality of craftsmanship is hidden until the warranty expires. Handle was attached with plastic molded brackets that deteriated and the handle fell off. Handle is made of metal and heavy. Chipped the stove top when it fell.

We just installed this fridge and it's so nice! Love the middle drawer and how you can set it to fridge, freezer, or cold drinks. It's the same size as our previous refrigerator (was a a GE Profile and it was terrible with multiple problems!) but this new one fits so much more food. The way Frigidaire arranged the trays and size panels is genius.

This microwave came brand new with our new home in March 2021. It would randomly stop cooking before the time had completed(not too big of a deal, certainly not worth the hour hold time to speak with someone at Frigidaire) and the exhaust never seemed to work properly. Stopped working December 2022. We were told it was out of warranty and there was nothing Frigidaire will be do about. Truly disappointed that a company will not stand behind the quality of a product after12 months

I wanted a high level industrial looking set but didn™™t have the room for a larger stove. This oven/micro combination is perfect! The settings are calibrated correctly, the microwave is also a convection oven, and the look is super high end. With the microwave/convection oven I have double ovens without taking up the space. I definitely would buy these again. Love them!!

The microwave works fine. Maintaining the stainless color and keyboard area bit of a challenge as both always show fingerprints. In addition it does sound a bit ™tinny™ when you pull handle and open and close the door.

As part of a package we were able to add this microwave to our other appliances that we were buying. We had another fairly new microwave but wanted to keep the kitchen suite harmonized by brand. What a workhorse we have found this microwave to be. We have retired our standalone hot air fryer and now just use our new microwave. It is so smart and takes the guesswork out of deciding how long to microwave or convection cook foods. Great add on that we did not even know we needed.

While I've used a gas cook top several times, this is my first foray with a gas oven. My sister, who I consider an excellent cook, has used her Frigidaire Professional gas stove for 25+ years and loves it. The stove is beautiful to look at and so far has functioned just fine...I just haven't tried the extra features of the oven, such as the air fryer function. This purchase was part of a kitchen redo and I have found all the Professional Series appliances we purchased to be beautiful and functional.
