Enjoyed my old GE JEM22E spacemaker for 36 years!! Was so happy to find that GE is still making a hanging model for kitchens with little counter space. It is on the small side, but think it will serve my needs. Like that is now has a turn table. The larger PEM was too big for my space. Thank you GE.
Only problem I had was the short cord - 6 inches short to reach the outlet.

Compact, good appearance "hanging microwave". BUT, the so called "Included Hanging Kit" was NOT included, was missing. Amazon was contacted and I was referred to Puerto Rico GE Service/Parts department. Nothing can be done: they don't answer the phone!

Our old built in microwave died after 20 faithful years. But now no one makes the size that would replace it. Eventually I found the GE that was the right height. It was not as wide but the cabinet could be filled in and it all worked out. Being smaller with a rotating dish limits what an go in at one time but at least it fits.

Add 30 Seconds Feature is Great! The look of stainless steel fits in great with our other appliances. The window and interior lighting allow a good view of cooking. One touch feature (hit the 1 for a minute of microwaving, 2 for two minutes, 3 for three minutes...etc.) is a really easy way to keep working in the kitchen simple.

I was looking for a small 700 watt microwave that I could mount under the counter in my boat galley. This one is the perfect size and has predrilled mounting holes so I could bolt it to the cabinet. So far it works perfectly and is just the right size for my boat.

This microwave replaced a larger GE microwave when it quit working. I was pleased to see almost all of the same features on this smaller and more compact version. I needed a very shallow microwave to fit my space, and this is one of only a few available. I can't use the largest plates and cookware in it that I had used in my previous microwave.

Accustomed to larger and higher-wattage machines, I had trouble imagining any use for this. Turns out to be a little gem that's easy on kitchen counter space and in daily use. The wheeled ring under turntable isn't very sturdy, and the exhaust fan doesn't push out much moisture. Not serious issues.

I purchased this compact GE Microwave specifically to fit inside a built-in kitchen cupboard. The enclosed space is too small for most regular microwave ovens on
the market. After much research I discovered this GE microwave, which had the exact dimensions required. There are a few other compact brands out there but we chose GE to complement our other GE appliances. We never cook meals in this microwave, as it's sole purpose is reheating leftovers and beverages. A standard size dinner plate fits nicely inside, but taller items might not fit (i.e., a Starbucks Grande cup fits -- without the stopper stick). It's perfect for us, in more ways than one. It's only rated at 700W so it is a bit underpowered compared to larger units that are typically 1000-1200W. Sometimes we wish it had more power, but it works beautifully for our needs. After two years in daily use it has been 100% trouble-free. Given that this microwave is inexpensive and built for light duty, I wouldn't suggest it for large/rowdy families or where it would see heavy-duty use. I deducted one star just for being underpowered, but otherwise it's highly recommended, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this model again.

I think it's fair to describe this unit as complete junk. Aside from being disappointingly underpowered (claims to be 700W), in about a year's time, the interior has begun to rust out, an experience I've never had before with any microwave.
