I didn't know you could love an appliance, but I love this dryer! It completely dries my clothes and the lint trap is so easy to keep clean. If I don't take it with me when I move to a new house, I'm definitely buying another one!!

The dryer is good, no problem . The door does reverse which I was looking for . No other machine did that so I would be stuck with a door that's not convenient. I like that it's USA made and the parts are in the USA. A plus. It lasts 25 years.

We have had issues using the new washer,but now know how it works. We would much more prefer a small water cycle on this new unit . The two settings are to much water and water will be a issue in the near future for several areas in the country.

When we were at our local showroom, they had a returned dryer that had to have the timer replaced.
We opted to not purchase the discounted dryer and opt for a brand new washer and dryer. After delivery The timer on our new dryer didn't seem very accurate, no definite clicks between Selections. After quick Google search, others have inquired about this problem. Went back to our local dealer, and verified that the new / different Unit they had on display had a timer that had physical audible, clicks between selections. Seams as though my timer is faulty and I will be having the service department come out and replace it. Haven't yet asked speed queen directly about this issue, but if yours does the same, you might.

The door seems very thin and bent. I did call, no response. Very disappointed in the construction of the dryer. Purchased a Speed Queen washer earlier this year and the comparison between the two is substantial. Also lint collector is ridiculous!

I purchased a new SQ dryer to complement my new SQ washer although my previous dryer was still functioning well. When installed, the new dryer protrudes about 3" from the new washer because according to the installer, there is no provision for the exhaust tubing at the rear of the dryer. I did not have this problem with my existing dryer.

The brand speed queen is suppose to be reputable. However when it comes to service that department is lacking. Bought a new dryer used one time the timer stopped working. Called the dealer they can't help and speed queen or Alliance doesn't have a service person for "my area"

My previous dryer did not dry large towels completely but my new Speed Queen Dryer does. However, my machine came out of the box with spots imbedded in the drum and door that will not wipe away. Not a good example of quality.

I've had this machine for about month and I would have to say it's a big improvement from my last dryer. It dries faster and when the buzzer goes off the clothes are dry, unlike the last dryer I had. Big improvement and happy customer!

We were so excited about our Speed Queen purchase, and have heard such amazing things. After less than a month our dryer's timer stopped working. I started the dryer at night before bed and when I woke up it was still running...could of burnt the house down, the clothes were SO hot. It has been over a month and getting it fixed through the warranty is slow. I don't know if I can trust this machine. We spent a lot of money and I'm not sure if it was worth it. Did we just get a fluke lemon dryer? So far the washer has been great.

Excellent overall machine that performs well. The only exception in the lint filter. There needs to be a gasket of some sort to prevent lint from getting underneath it. I need to remove it with a wrench every week or so to prevent the bypass lint from building up in the exhaust dryer vent. This is unacceptable for a machine in this price range, I reported it and they sent an insert for the top of the lint filter which does nothing to help the filter seal around the filter edges, but was a nice gesture. Other people have complained about this same problem online so there is obviously a design flaw.

House came with Whirlpool no agitator washing machine and large dryer. Clothes in washer had dry spots and were twisted way too much. Dried clothes came out so twisted I would have to iron t-shirts and everything else. We had laundromats in Chicago area and always had Speen Queen in them. Great product.

My other gas dryer was 4 years old when it stopped working. The warranty was over after the first year. The cost of repairing was not worth it. My husband said buy a Speed Queen dryer because he liked the warranty. My Speed Queen dryer does not leave marks on my laundry like my old machine. The lint screen is easy to clean.

An outstanding dryer. My wife like everything about it and the filter cleaning system is as good as it gets. This dryer compliments very well the Speed Queen washer we installed at the same time as the dryer, both replacing:
-- A monster Sears front-loading limited water washing machine, which was forever
dirty, perhaps moldy and never would clean clothes, even adequately, often leaving
behind soap residue in the form of slime and;
--An accompanying front-loading Sears dryer, which was only adequate.
The Speed Queen washer and dryer together make for outstanding laundry room machines! My wife is very happy!!
