Wife got tired of struggling with the old dryer so we bought the new Whirlpool unit. Now she's happy, I'm very happy. BTW. It's been so long since we shopped for the dryers we had no idea of the convenient and inovative features available now.

I bought my dryer about 5 weeks ago and have found it easy to use. I especially like that it is quiet both as it washes and when it notifies me of a completed wash.

I bought this expensive dryer because it was advertised as having the steam cycle. When it was being installed and I asked about the steam feature I was informed the steam kit did not come with it and I needed to purchase and install it separately!! Surely, the steam kit should have been included in the original purchase? I cannot find information on what I need to buy and how/who to install. If I had known this to be the case I would not have spent $1,200 on what is to me an average dryer.
