Don't buy this microwave. I inherited this model when I moved. It worked for a few months and then failed. I had to wait seven months for a part due to supply chains issues. It was repaired on August 23, and as of October 13 it's failing again. It suddenly shuts off and goes dark. The clock resets when you use it. It's junk!

Worst appliance I have ever bought. I've had it for 5 years and multiple issues. Door hinges failed within year, new door $200. Door switches fail 3 times a year. Temp sensor failed, and now megnatron went out. Look at another brand

We love our Speed Oven so far. It replaced our counter top Microwave and Toaster Oven. We never had a convention oven before and that's a nice surprise. We use our Speed Oven much more than our full size oven.

This micro wave/convection oven is quite capable. One thing that we find annoying is that after micro waving something and removing it, you must hit another button to stop the dinging from the timer (which has expired already).

I bought this microwave along with wall ovens and a steam oven and a range and a dishwasher six years ago in 2016. The others were great! The microwave had an almost unreadable LED readout as others have reported from the beginning. Just this year it stopped working entirely. The technician came and looked at it, said he didn't have the spare part needed (some sort of fuse embedded in the door mechanism), and then it took six months before he was able to come back with it. This all took more than $500, even after he gave me a cost break. He fixed it and then after a few weeks it broke again. I didn't slam the door. I had carefully opened the door in the middle as he had instructed and have been treating it like it was made of spun glass. Did no good. Bosch in all of this has taken no responsibility for this and has not acknowledged this is a widespread issue with this model. This is not a premium experience I expected for a premium price. I am looking for a new microwave now that is not made by Bosch.

The appliance fits nicely under the counter. Works well both as a microwave and a small oven. As a family of two the convection oven feature is great. The only disappointment is that the outside looks like it is dented. It was replaced once but still looks like a flaw. That is disappointing.

We remodeled our kitchen after 40 years and chose Bosch applicances for our new kitchen. Ordered them in April and they arrived in September and October due to delays of one thing or another. We are very pleased with all that we brought and would recommend them to others who are looking to upgrade their kitchen.
I do have one word of caution about the five year extended warrenty. It starts when the applicance is brought - not when it arrives or when it is installed. Our five year warrenties are 4 1/2 year warrenties. We paid for half a year of warrenties when we did not have the applicances. Sad.

Manufactured January 2018. Installed in April of 2018. Died March 31, 2021. Upon opening the door, the display flashed and went dead. It's dead Jim. Totally fried.
This appears to be a common problem. We, unfortunately, are stuck replacing it. It is built in, we're not going to redo our kitchen cabinets. We will choose replace rather than repair so that we can get the extended warranty on the new one.
An appliance that fails totally after three years is poor quality and unacceptable for a brand name of Bosch's reputation and premium prices.
Very nice oven when it worked. If you buy this oven, which as noted was very nice when it worked, this is a time when getting the extended warranty is likely to pay off.

This is the high end model and it broke in less than 2 years. We had repair company come out, only to be told that replacment parts are 'obsolete' (REALLY!?!?!? OBSOLETE after only 2 years? It's not like we're asking to fix a 20 year old machine.) After MONTHS of back & forth, we have to buy a new microwave - however, nne of the dimentions match dimenesions of this machine & I am not willing to replace or modify or customer kitchen cabinets to fit a microwave....so, you guessed it...we have to buy ANOTHER one of these machines that is sure to break again. DO NOT BUY THIS! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Does the job well. Quieter than many microwaves. Simple, elegant looking design. Only issue with this microwave is that you have to clear once you are done otherwise, it will continue to chime and is annyoying.

I really loved the the speed oven when we first bought it, along with built in oven, gas cooktop, and dishwasher- all benchmark level. The best part of the speed oven is that it cooks fresh vegetables perfectly for us! However, since the beginning, it was hard to read the display- much too light, same with the end beep. Also, frequently, it trips the breaker. Now after 4.5 years, there is a problem with the door- so I guess we need to call the repairman- then we can replace the control panel- that's what the repair people suggest. Also, on the oven, the built in auto probe has never worked. At the first service visit, they fixed something inside, and said the auto probe would now work. Nope!
Very disappointing in bosch- I loved my first bosch oven and dishwasher, but quality isn't there anymore.

HUGE Disappointment! This is the 3rd Bosch kitchen appliance that I have had to have major repair work in order to be functional. Updated Kitchen appliances 3 years ago, new induction cooktop, double oven and warming drawer...I selected Bosch based on fabulous dishwashers I have owned. These 3 new appliances ALL have failed and have had major repairs. The microwave portion of double oven is nonfunctional and is awaiting a new "board". Even the technician who diagnosed the problem said that "Bosch does not make appliances like they used to" (direct quote). I advise all my friends to buy the diswashers but look to other companies for other kitchen appliances.

Sorry, but I really wanted to love this speed oven. Unfortunately, my brand new speed oven died two times within a 6 month period. Control panel went blank each time, wouldn't respond to anything. Such a shame.
