Love our dishwasher! Quietest appliance we've ever owned! Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the space on the top rack. It's very limited to short things. Nothing larger than a very average drinking glass can fit with the very top, third drawer installed. I've considered removing it, but it is a very cool feature!

Our dishwasher has been installed since Sept '22 and we love it! I was a little skeptical that the features and sound levels could be worth the extra money but it is whisper quiet and we love the separate utensil tray. It holds more dishes than our prior model so we don't have to run it as often. We haven't used all of the wash cycles yet but everything comes out clean, every time on normal cycle. Worth every penny!

I've tried every setting, but I still have to hand dry dishes after a full cycle. Customer support was not halpful. They recommended a rinse agent, but it seems that when you spend $1300 on a dishwasher, it shouldn't require additonal products to dry.

Finished a kitchen remodel about a year and a half ago. Unit was quiet and cleaned relatively well. But over a month ago, I received an E15 error. None of my usual repair service companies work on Bosch appliances. Bosch was able to provide me with a local service company. However, the part that is needed is out of stock and there is no date provided for when it will arrive. I am now out of a dishwasher for over a month and I have no idea when i will be able to get it fixed.

I have started using the dishwasher now for a month. I loaded a whole bunch of dirty dishes and started the machine. Once the dishwasher starts operation, all I hear is water filling the machine and that's it. Then the machine works very quietly and I could hardly hear anything until the job is done. I am very happy with my purchase and the dishes come out perfectly clean as long as I place them correctly in the dishwasher.

This is my second Bosch-the first one needed to be replaced after 19 years, yes nineteen, of service free use. I had to wait over a year for it to be delivered,so bought a cheaper DW for $500 to get us through the year. As expected the no frills machine left a lot to be desired, but did get most of the dishes clean most of the time, but not as user friendly, quiet and effecient as my new Bosch.

Our cabinet maker had no issues creating the panel and installation of the panel was well explained, so my carpenter had no problem. The dishwasher is so quiet the only way to know it's operating is to look for the red light shining on the floor.

without overloading the dishwasher and using rinse agent it doesnt dry dishes inside. I have "owned" the unit passed the 1 year "warranty" but because of supply chain warranty and now after only having run it only 3 times a screw on the inside came out and I tried to have them come out to fix it but it is out of warranty. Seemed like an exception could have been made but I wasn't allowed to speak to a supervisor. So overall not a good product not good customer service. My old Kenmore washer worked better sadly.

Good luck finding a custom panel

I bought the "custom panel ready" dishwasher - the one where all the marketing photos show dishwashwers WITH custom panels, so I was dumb enough to think it came with the custom panel. Good luck finding one or anyone to help installing one. Neither Bosch nor Home Depot have any idea or cared to help me and 6 months later I still have an unfinished dishwasher in my kitchen and no idea how to find a custom panel. It's also very hard to open as the clasp is so strong and the spring loaded door won't stay open so we have to use a metal weight to keep it open while we load the dishwasher to avoid the door slamming shut on us. It is very quiet, and cleans the dishes better than the last one we had. Still, this review is from a VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

Great design and extremely quiet

As a background, this unit was actualy a replacement for a ~5 year old similar 800 Series panel-ready model that developed a tub leak. We've had the new one for about 1.5 months and use it every day, so I can comment on how it functions and also how it has changed (improved or otherwise) from the older model. Overall, I'm happy with this dishwasher. Fingers crossed it never leaks! A few things changed that I'm betting were based on customer feedback, but I'm only happy about some of them: + Crystal Dry. This feature does a great job, particularly with plastic items that used to retain water after everything else was dry + 42dBA. The old one was 44dBA, and every 3dBA is half (or twice) the sound energy, so the 2dBA reduction is very noticeable. + Adjustable third rack depth. This feature makes the third rack much more usable for things beyond silverware - No more tall "spike" stand on bottom rack. I used this frequently to prop up certain cookware to an angle so that water won't collect on the concave bottom. This is now gone. -/+ - the info screen is now red LEDs. The old one was white. For some reason, the white LEDs looked more modern to me. These red ones look like an old alarm clock from 1980. -/+ the silverware holder is now two separate parts. Maybe they had feedback that a full silverware holder was too heavy to remove when unloading (?), but I find this to be a strange feature. I guess it does allow you to free up some additional space for a bigger pan and still wash half of your silverware.

This is my 3rd and favorite Bosch dishwasher bc this is our second kitchen we had to remodel and we moved into a kitchen that already had a Bosch but wanted a cabinet front so needed to replace. All three have worked and still work great but this one has great features. Love the third silverware tray up top. It fits big serving spoons and spatulas. But what is really cool is the glasses tray is adjustable so you can lower it with a press if a button to make room for tall glasses or wine glasses. Had no idea of this feature when I ordered it. Cleans beautifully and is super quiet. Even quieter than one before.

Very disappointed - leaves residue

We have had this dishwasher for about 6 months. The quality is not even close to that of our old GE profile. The plastic is much thinner and cheaper. However that is not the worst, our dishes come out slimmy. There is soap residue on everything. We have tried switching soaps, using drying agent, not using drying agent - checking the hardness of our water, etc. Nothing works. We are re-rinsing all the dishes manually after every load. The dishwasher has a re-rinse function, but there is no option to re-rinse and then dry. You litterally have to run it twice - once with soap and once without. We are about to just replace it, even though it cost 1200 and is 6 months old.

The old Bosch worked much better than this new Bosch. The new Bosch is noisy, and the inside is very wet when the cycle ends. The door is always dripping wet and many of the items need to be hand dried. It's a hassle Don't like this new dishwasher at all. Overall this new model seems to be of lesser quality than the Bosch it replaced. Disappointed. Wish I hadn't bought it The cycle options are minimal. Not good choices

Reliable!

We had to replace our old Bosch dishwasher after 17 years without any need for repairs. (Such an amazing record since we've needed to replace and repair other brand name ovens.). Naturally we chose another Bosch! The installers couldn't believe how good our old dishwasher looked- probably because the stainless interior remains clean with the efficient dishwashing cycles. Our new Bosch is just as wonderful with some new features: - it's even quieter than the old dishwasher! Because of this, there is a light new feature that projects on the floor in front of the kickpkate that lets you know when the dishwasher is on. -a cutlery drawer that can be easily removed if you require more room. -ample cutlery and utensil baskets - stemware holders to keep wine glasses in place during the cycle - the old panel fit perfectly on the new dishwasher and makes it fully integrated in our kitchen. Here's to more years with this reliable appliance.

Not reliable. Stopped working 4 times in past year

We bought this dishwasher a little less than a year ago. Since then we have needed repairmen to come out 4 times to fix because it is not draining properly. We have never had problems with a dishwasher in our kitchen in 15 years. Even worse Bosch claims there is no problem with the dishwasher (they claim the problem is with the drainage hose) so we can't get it replaced!

Hard to review a product that's only a few weeks old so time will tell. But so far so good. Love the top shelf for the silverware. A red light comes on when you start the washer but it would be better if a green ligfht came on when the cycle (including drying) was completed.

I had one of these for about two years when it broke. "Water tap error." It was under extended warranty and repaired once. It broke again and I was informed that I would be refunded the cost rather than have it repaired. I figured it was a lemon and bought a replacement. The replacement has never worked since installation. It is under manufacturer's warranty. First Bosch technician couldn't find a problem. Second Bosch technicians found a cracked case and a leak. It is not repairable and needs to be replaced. I sent all the documentation to Bosch and called to confirm it was received. Need to wait a week for a determination that they will replace it. Call again at the end of the week, now they can't find the documentation and I need to re-start my waiting period, which is as far as my story goes. I will update if I ever get my 3rd Bosch DW. tldr; between shipping, two technician visits, and now the ineptitude of customer service, it is has been since August to now coming up on November and I still don't have a dishwasher. I guess it is possible I got very unlucky and got 2 lemons, or maybe the manufacturing sucks. The customer service certainly does.

With our two previous dishwashers, we essentially had to wash the dishes before the appliances had their turn, but that's not true with this one. We've not yet had anything come out with any residue!

First time Bosch user and so far so good!! Taken a little bit of effort not to "clean" my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, but does a good job cleaning and it's so quiet!

Bought dishwasher from Lowes in the middle of May and they said it would be in about 3 to 4 weeks. Checked on it at the end of that time and told it would be in September. Canceled Dishwasher with Lowes because they lied to me. Ordered it from Appliance Connection and they told me the truth about the delivery date. Keep me up to date on delivery and was honest about the back orders. Got the dishwasher the end of Auguest. Ran the dishwasher 3 times and then it stopped working. Called Basch and got repair man out in another 3 weeks. He found out the mother board was bad but had to order it from Bosch. Bosch sent parts to repair man and he came back last week, which was September the 24th. Bosch sent the wrong part, so still no dishwasher. Called Bosch and was told that I would have to wait until the repair man called back with the new part. Bosch did not offer to expediate the matter or follow up on the matter. I was very unhappy with their response. So, long story short, I am still waiting for my new dishwasher. By the way, I ask if my warrantey started when I got my dishwasher not working or when it was working. They said it was when I recieved my dishwasher which means it is already a month in and still no working dishwasher.

When we remodeled our first home, I purchased a Bosch dishwasher and liked it. When we moved, we had a pre-exisiting dishwasher that I endured for many years. When we finally remodeled the kitchen, choosing a panel-ready Bosch was an easy decision. But wow, I am blown away by how great this one is. When we first started using it, I deliberately put things in it that I thought it would not get clean - they did - every single time. I love the functionality of the third rack and the crystal dry setting is a game changer. It is absolutely silent and the only way we can tell it is running is by the red dot on the floor. I have not a single complaint.

3 moves and 3 new Bosch dishwashers - all panel ready! So quiet, you can't tell it is running! Quality inside shows too as it doesn't rust! I like Bosch so much that the latest remodel we chose Bosch washer and dryer too! Highly recommend!

Very expensive for mediocre cleaning

Dishes never completely dry so the glasses always have a mark, even either rinse aid. The way the controls are designed, you always press something to either start or suspend wash.
