We bought this fridge at lowes within days of purchase did not cool properly lowes sent out tech 9 different times until all fridge parts including the compressor was changed worked better but not to standards food turns bad quick used mostly to keep drinks cokes water n left overs we were going to eat asap. 3 years to date of purchase stops working have lg tech coming out to fix

I am appalled. After just over two years my evaporator fan motor failed. After a very frustrating experience navigating LGs customer service looping back and forth with their chat and automated phone line they told me that it would be a minimum $400 charge to have a technician come and do the repair. After reading through the reviews on this LG refrigerator previously I only saw the reviews on Home Depots website this seems to be a known/common issue. I asked if they could send me the part to repair it myself and they said no. I asked for the part number so that I could try to find one locally myself and was told to call back on Monday as nobody could give me an answer over the weekend. The customer service manager was unwilling to be flexible on anything. When I brought up the additional cost of spoiled foods and ice the representative repeated that it was out of warranty and said nothing else. The refrigerator I had before this LG product lasted almost 20 years. I am appalled with the quality of LGs products their atrocious customer service and their complete disregard for their customer. I will never purchase LG products again.

It was an great fridge until it stopped getting cold. I was so disappointed. A repair man told me that he would be replacing that part every two years because that is quality if LG refrigerators.

Its August 19. I reported issue to repair end of June. 2 different entities came to repair door. 2 new doors motherboards other parts replaced and us having to take off work. Im water is off and we have had to buy ice. Last repair vompany couldnt repair. They de lined coing out a third time..on vacation. Now waiting for a 3rd company to come out and waste more time of ours abd theirs. Its been 5 ir 6 repair visits The cost of .otherboards 2 doors with water dispenser other parts tech time our time buying ice us more than a new fridge would have been... so now we are awaiting a 3rd ap9liance repair company to come by. 3x ferment frustrating. Run from this company. Never will I buy an LG again and I wanted a matching dishwasher and naybe stove. Caution recommended. The fridge was great when it worked.. it all started with an error code and then afyer first repair water coming out randomly on the floor..l8ng story. Im tired

purchased less then one year failed after 10 months. service came out replaced as compressor as fridge/freezer not getting cold. now 3 and half weeks later not cooling properly and not making ice will now have to call lg service again as problem wasnt resolved and now its after the one year warranty. will see how it goes from here.

I bought this 2 and half years ago and it stop cooling I went through LG because I had 5 years warranty on it and after a month in the phone with them my little family suffered the all month with out fridge so they finally decided to give me refund 1470 dollars will I paid 1799+tax they said you used it for 2 years so thats what you get back... I just accepted no choice...hhhhh warranty is just an advertisement...

Regret purchasing this unit. It will not reach the desired temperature of 33 degrees. The lowest it has reached is 37 if refreezable ice packs placed inside. Countless service calls have been no help. Poor communication from customer service and the service techs. Unfortunately this particular unit is a lemon.

Its been MONTHS and havent received the refrigerator. LG has left me with a broken refrigerator for 3 months in the highest heat we have had in years. The refrigerator was only 8 months old when it stopped cooling talked to LG numerous times sent in the paperwork they requested to be told a month later they couldnt get a service person to come fix it so they would send a new one. The replacement which is the fridge they are asking me to review was supposed to be arriving in July nothing. Now they are saying September 4th. I have nothing positive to say about LG.

Purchased LG side by side model with craft ice maker and PRINT PROOFStainless steel. It was NOT print proof as advertised. We also purchase the extended warranty. I have called LG twice a week for 8 weeks as recommended by Home Depot to no avail. All I received was my case has been elevated and someone will get back to you. That never happened. I spoke with the store manager at Home Depot who was going to get back to me and never did. This is out 3rd and last LG product of any type I will ever purchase. We have 3 LG refrigerators and other LG appliances. To be ignored by LG and now Home Depot has ended both relations for me False advertising

Im very happy with the refrigerator over all. It would have been even better if they would have split shelving an adjustable on all three shelves inside refrigerator. Also if on the very bottom crisper they would have a flap that lifts up so you do not have to open. Both doors and roll the crispfer out to get to something. Last but not least in the refrigerator when you open it up there should be a small shelf on the inside the freezer door for storing small items.

It works well the aesthetics are good and it seems mostly reliable. Weve had it for a couple of years now and have had only one problem. It has a tendency to frost up because the freezer door doesnt always close with a tight seal. Consequently if the frost gets too bad the circulation fan stops spinning the cold air doesnt move around enough and it has trouble staying cold. When this happened we used the extended warranty to get it running again but was told that the next time the fan frosts up the compressor may need to be replaced.

Purchased This fridge April 2022 already not working. Same issue fan not working. LG customer service required manual defrost before they send a tech out for $399.00. I did the manual defrost twice over several days and the error code kept coming back on Now reading the reviews there are hundreds with the same issue We need our appliances fixed This is ridiculous.

I bought this a little over 9 months and am very disappointed. The cooling part of the refrigerator went out and had to be completely replaced and as there was no part readily available it took close to a month before we could use it again. We saved what food we could but a lot still ended up being tossed out. I had gotten the extended warranty but felt it sad that we had to use the regular warranty first even before a year was up.

I bought this appliance two months ago and I am very pleased with the purchase. The ice maker is in the freezer compartment freeing up a huge amount of extra space. We have never before had a refrigerator in which we have a lot of extra space in fridge and freezer.

I bought this in July of 2023 and while it worked fine up to a point at around 8 month the fan broke down and it is going on the 4th week now and it is still waiting for a part to fix it. If this is the current quality of this product then I likely will not purchase one again.

Love the roominess of this refrigerator and the ice maker works great. The only problem was the freezer handle wasnt installed properly and broke the first time I used it. LG sent a replacement handle and luckily my husband had the tools and knowledge to install it.

We purchased our new LG French Door Refrigerator a little more than a month ago and it is a joy to use I love the clean chrome exterior which lends a chic aesthetic to our kitchen. Even with a gouge on one of the doors that occurred at time of delivery for which we received a reimbursement. This comment need not be considered a part of my review but is for your information only. The slim water dispenser and the freezer drawer ice maker are great The ice cubes are dense and really last in a cool drink The spacious 2-layer freezer drawer more than accommodates our frozen goods. I have never owned a double-door refrigerator and I particularly like the spaciousness of the refrigerated section. The ONLY drawback is the full-width deli drawer which requires both doors to be opened for access. We look forward to many years of economy utility and satisfaction with this product

Purchased 2yrs ago a French door w/bottom freezer refridgerator. Overall it is a nice product however I have had two service calls on it already regarding the ice maker line and the fan stopped working. Furthermore with my warranty I was able to get fast service and repairs.
