Flawed design collects residue and stains clothes

The seam between the drum and the rear of the machine is too wide and shaped in a way that it collects this black residue/debris which stains clothes. Very poor design with no seal and too wide of a tolerance. I can stick a credit card in the seam and pick out chunks of this gunk very upset with this purchase.

Shaking and leaking

I bought this washer I. December 3022. The delivery guy arrived earlier then the scheduled time. I called the main office and after originally refusing he came back a couple hours later. He was in a hurry to install and as soon as O started it up it shook . I jury rigged something yo keep it in balance but now the rubber gasket on the front is falling open and a part seemingly holding it in place is off track.

While the washer was functioning it was efficient and easy to use. It had a variety of settings that allowed me to customize my wash according to my needs. However the sudden breakdown was a major inconvenience and has made me question the overall reliability of the product. Despite this setback I have decided to purchase another LG washer machine in a few days. While I was disappointed with the early malfunction I am willing to give the brand another chance based on its reputation and positive reviews from other customers. Overall I would give this LG washer machine a 3-star rating. While it performed well initially the breakdown after only three months of use is concerning. However I am hopeful that my next purchase will prove to be a better experience.

Bad time with washer 3/3/2023

We bought a washer last fall and had problems with it from the start. LG was extremely difficult to get to on the phone and when I did i had to crowl over the top of the washer to take pictures. They kept saying it was an installation issue. Finally after several visits with installation and no help by phone we bought a different brand of washer and made them take the LG away.

Before we bought our washer we read several reviews. The LG was rated #1 among washers. I like the ease of selecting the appropriate cycle and its quiet operation. I also like that the door can be left open after a wash to air out. That was always a problem with our previous washer which used a very strong magnet that sealed the door any time it was left partially ajar.

Nice machine however....

Its a nice machine. However the Normal cycle continues to show a 70 minute wash time even though the actual wash time is 56-57 minutes. Nobody seems to want to address this issue for me. All other wash times seem to be fairly accurate.

LG Washer/Dryer Review

Ordered washer/dryer pair and stacking bracket direct from LG. Price was same as big box stores plus no additional charge for delivery setup and haul away which was great. However bracket delivered separate and delivery/setup contractor would not install due to bracket not being included on their truck company policy. Installation was relatively painless but would have been ideal if I did not have to do it myself. Delivery contractors were quite friendly and did leave the necessary hose connections. Washer and dryer are great. Huge capacity in a standard 27 inch width. Very quiet compared to my previous units non-LG. The doors hinges and closures are all solid. Washer will final spin the clothes well on Medium setting. Also the bottom of the washer tub slopes down towards the back so that water drains better and will hopefully reduce mildew buildup on the door gasket. This was an issue with my last front load washer. With the Dryer I tried different drying temperatures and landed on the High heat setting as my go-to for standard loads if I want to get drying completed within 50 to 90 minutes. Thats fine. I figure medium and low heat will handle smaller more delicate loads without excessive time or damage to the material. Overall I really like this washer/dryer pair. They are a definite step up in quality and design from my old set. Id recommend this LG set.

Bought a couple weeks ago and so far so good only complaint is it takes a bit of force for the play button and it says 94 minutes for wash but takes less than an hour. Overall pretty good

Super Clean Laundry

My LG washer really cleans my clothes. Its both efficient and gentle. Ive had my LG for almost two years. Ive washed thousands of loads and no matter the size of the loads my laundry is always clean. The only criticism is that the length of time for some loads doesnt immediately show. Otherwise I am really happy with my LG washer and my super clean laundry.

An Excellent Washer

We replaced a failing 15 year old Bosch washer with this LG washer. At the time I asked our appliance repair person for a recommendation for a new one and he immediately said LG This LG washer has proven to be efficient and amazingly quiet leaving our clothes very clean and barely damp.
